Stockboston.com is an information resource to help you obtain copyright permissions for Stock Boston photographs. Stock Boston was a premier traditional stock photo agency for more than three decades. We were the leading supplier of images to educational textbook publishers for many years. We can help you permission all types of rights including revisions, reuses, collateral uses, changes in distribution, or new uses.

For over a decade, tens of thousands of our photographs were available through PNI, Picture Network International, also known as PictureQuest (now, Jupiter Images). We can grant additional copyright permissions for Stock Boston images originally obtained online from them, too.

Since the physical files of photographs are no longer available, we generally cannot provide image files. We do have a few thousand scans of photographs available from when we hoped to transition to an internet agency. However, these represent only a small percentage of the original Stock, Boston physical files.
